After a restful night, your Japanese adventure truly begins as we make our way to the dynamic city of Tokyo. Our first stop is the iconic Tokyo Sky Tree, the tallest structure in Japan. Here, you'll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the sprawling metropolis, offering a perfect introduction to the city's impressive scale and beauty. Next, we’ll visit Ueno Park, one of Tokyo’s most beloved spots, especially during cherry blossom season. Stroll through the park’s picturesque pathways lined with hundreds of sakura trees in full bloom, creating a stunning canopy of pink petals. In the afternoon, prepare to be dazzled by TeamLab Planets, an immersive digital art museum that blurs the line between art and reality. As the day draws to a close, we'll embark on a serene Meguro River Cruise. Drift along the tranquil waters, flanked by rows of cherry blossom trees, their delicate petals reflecting in the river.

Today, we journey from the vibrant city of Tokyo to the picturesque region of Hakone. Our first destination is the majestic Mt. Fuji, Japan’s iconic peak. If weather and conditions permit, we'll ascend to the 5th Station. Next, we’ll explore the Owakudani Boiling Valley, an area known for its geothermal activity. Here, you can witness steam vents, sulfurous springs, and bubbling hot springs that showcase the raw power of nature. In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a leisurely cruise on Lake Ashi, a serene lake formed in the caldera of a volcanic eruption.

DAY HIGHLIGHTS: BULLET TRAIN FROM TOKYO TO KYOTO | FUSHIMI INARI TAISHA SHRINE | GION

This morning, we travel to the historic city of Kyoto, the cultural heart of Japan. Our first stop in Kyoto is the iconic Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, one of the most revered Shinto shrines in Japan. Famous for its thousands of vibrant red torii gates, which form a mesmerizing pathway up the sacred Mount Inari, this shrine is dedicated to Inari, the Shinto god of rice and prosperity. In the evening, we’ll explore Gion, Kyoto’s most famous geisha district. Stroll through the narrow, lantern-lit streets lined with traditional wooden machiya houses, many of which are now tea houses or restaurants. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of a geisha or maiko!

DAY HIGHLIGHTS: AARASHIYAMA BAMBOO GROVES | SAGANO ROMANTIC TRAIN | SAKE BREWERY | KIYOMIZU DERA TEMPLE

Today, we continue our exploration of Kyoto. Our first stop is the enchanting Arashiyama Bamboo Groves. As you walk through the towering bamboo stalks, you'll feel like you've stepped into another world. The sunlight filtering through the dense bamboo creates a tranquil and almost otherworldly atmosphere, perfect for peaceful contemplation and stunning photographs. Later Embark on a picturesque journey through the heart of Kyoto's scenic countryside aboard the Sagano Romantic Train. Also known as the Sagano Scenic Railway, this charming train ride offers a unique way to experience the natural beauty of the region. As the train winds its way through the lush landscapes of the Hozu River Gorge, you'll be treated to stunning views of verdant forests, vibrant cherry blossoms in spring and rich autumn foliage. Next, we'll delve into one of Japan's most traditional crafts with a visit to a Sake Brewery. Here, you'll learn about the ancient art of sake brewing and traditions behind Japan's famous rice wine and enjoy a tasting session where you can sample different varieties of this iconic beverage.

Later we’ll visit the magnificent Kiyomizu-dera Temple, one of Kyoto's most celebrated temples and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Perched on a hillside, the temple offers breathtaking views from its famous wooden stage that juts out over the valley below. Explore the temple’s grounds, which include a sacred waterfall and the Otowa Waterfall, where visitors can drink from three streams, each believed to confer a different benefit: longevity, success, or love.

Begin your day with an exhilarating ride on the Shinkansen, Japan’s renowned bullet train. Experience the speed and efficiency of this iconic transportation system as we travel from Kyoto to Hiroshima, and then onward to Osaka. In Hiroshima, visit the poignant Peace Memorial Park, a tribute to the victims of the atomic bomb that devastated the city in 1945. The park is home to several important memorials, including the A-Bomb Dome, which stands as a stark reminder of the city’s history. Later continue your journey to Osaka, Japan’s bustling metropolis known for its vibrant culture and culinary delights. Upon arrival, check into your Hotel.

DAY HIGHLIGHTS: NARA DEER PARK & TODAIJI TEMPLE | OSAKA CASTLE | DOTONBORI

On your final day in Japan, we'll explore some of the most iconic sites in the Kansai region. Start the day with a visit to Nara, Japan’s ancient capital, where we'll explore the serene Nara Deer Park. Here, you'll have the chance to interact with the friendly, free-roaming deer, considered sacred messengers of the gods in Shinto tradition. Next, visit the majestic Todai-ji Temple, home to the Great Buddha, one of the largest bronze statues of Buddha in the world. Return to Osaka to visit the historic Osaka Castle. This iconic landmark, surrounded by beautiful gardens, offers insights into Japan’s feudal past. In the evening, immerse yourself in the vibrant energy of Dotonbori, Osaka’s famous entertainment and dining district. Stroll along the neon-lit streets, where you can sample some of Osaka’s most famous street food, shop for souvenirs, or simply enjoy the lively atmosphere that makes Dotonbori one of Japan’s most exciting urban experiences.
